Passion Win #2:  Having my article about my Dad published in this month’s issue of The StepMom Magazine (read page 25, “My Fearless Father”) AND having two more articles accepted for publication in July and August!  By the way, if you are a step mom, you really should subscribe to this phenomenal online magazine – Brenda Ockun is a first class publisher and her magazine is filled with articles and features for step moms, about step moms, by step moms!  Plus, you’ll get to read articles by me that you won’t find anywhere else!

Passion Win #1:  I was contacted by Ron L. Deal, author of Smart Stepfamily, The: Seven Steps to a Healthy Family
and creator of the Christian Ministry “Successful Step Families.”  I am a big fan of Ron’s and the work that he and his wife Nan are doing for step families everywhere.  When I ran into my first step mom road block, his book was the first I bought and devoured.  It is a MUST resource in every step moms tool box. 

Ron contacted me because I sent him an email, inquiring about the new book “The Smart Step Mom.” I told him a little about myself and the books I’ve been reviewing for step moms.  When he responded, he told me that he had just put me on his list of “influencers” and he wants to know more about me and the work I’m doing with step moms! 

I’m excited…my life is unfolding exactly as it should!
