Hmmmm…Yeah…Wow!
I feel like I’m still playing catch up after welcoming Olivia Grace to the world last week. How do I explain this feeling of WOW? With my sister, it was easy…she’s a grandma to three beautiful children…one of them is 3 months old…so she gets it. We talked on the phone the other day and it went something like this.
Me: Wow.
Sis: I know.
Me: I don’t know how to explain it…it’s just wow.
Sis: I know.
Me: Yeah.
Sis: hmmm…yeah.
A conversation that went “hmmmm…yeah…wow…”
So, hmmm. yeah. Wow!

Two for Twosday
1. Brenda Ockun, the publisher for the online magazine StepMom loved my article for July, “Life minus Expectations = Happiness.” I was a little worried that at 1330 words, it would be too long. But no, it’s not! I’m excited about this article and I promise to share an excerpt from it on June 30th! I will also be profiling Brenda and her magazine on The Step Moms Tool Box in July.
2. My fabulous husband Richard bought me a new laptop – and yes, I’m using it right now! It’s part of his gift sending me to the Writelines conference on Star Island in early September. I am blessed to have a husband who supports my passion to be a wildly successful writer!
