I had a great conversation with a friend just today about the power and infusion of energy that comes from creating a goal or a project that seems almost unattainable. We challenged each other to set a fresh one for the new season coming up. Since I usually have more than enough ideas, I’ve decided to take 30 minutes every morning to flush out my seemingly disparate dreams by writing longhand about them, then doing something active in nature and listening while inspiration comes to me.

Since the first day of fall is September 22nd, I’d better get moving! Thank-you again for being a real-life female inspiration. Love it!

Congratulations! What amazing things you have done with your time.

A few months back I decided I wanted to get fluent in Spanish again. It was my major in college. I used to be bilingual but if you don’t use it you lose it.

So I took a book of CDs and checked them out of the library. Of course not only did I fail to open it I kept kidding myself and returned them late and owed a fee.

So one opportunity I don’t want to pass by me is getting fluid in Spanish again. The crazy thing is I know it won’t take long.

I’ll let you know when I’ve accomplished this!

I found your blog through Positively Present. I love how you found your niche in teaching and what you wanted to teach. Most of the time, I have to keep reminding myself of my long-term goals when going through the mud of the short-term. Like, right now my boyfriend and I live 2 hours away from each other and only spend time every other weekend. As hard as it feels now, I have to keep my goal in mind of saving money to finally buy a house and be together again in the future.
