I am by no means ready for fall, but here we are. It’s that time of year again in New Hampshire.
This morning, as I was looking for something in one of my super secret folders on my computer I found a powerpoint slide that I created that had several pictures that my daughter Christina took back in 2000. NINE years ago. She was THIRTEEN! Holy Cow…where did the time go? Now she’s off doing her thing in Vail, Colorado…on her own…by herself…living a charmed life buoyed by love, a fearless spirit, and a strong desire to carve her own path. This mama bear couldn’t be more proud of her baby bear cub.
And now I can’t remember what I was originally looking for or what I was going to do with it. Midlife ADHD? Maybe it wasn’t all that important…maybe I’ll remember what I was doing before I got side tracked down memory lane. Or maybe, that’s where I was supposed to go in the first place.

Hi Peggy !
Stopping by to say hello. Your daughter is an excellent photographer. Just 13 years old you say ? Mercy me !
Cheerio.
I love those moments. A quiet place of refuge, when all your “digging” disappears and you just stop mesmerized;
remembering. I agree that sometimes, that is meant to be. Beautiful pictures. I can’t imagine since we hardly have a fall. I really do want to visit the NE someday. Thank you for sharing these precious memories.
Good Moring Marsha!
Or should I say afternoon? Tea time yet? yes – she was just 13 when she snapped those – my artsy fartsy extremely talented bear cub
Thanks for bringing your energy to Serendipity!
Hi Angelia!
Before I knew it, 40 minutes zoomed by as I found some more stuff from when my girls were just 13 and 16…and I did remember what I was doing…looking for a picture of my baby brother so I could wish him a happy birthday the only way a big sister like me knows how – embarrass the hec out of him!
