Your Moment of Bliss

Instead of a wedding on Saturday, we took a day-cation to Salem, MA.  My daughter, her future in-laws and one of her friends who flew in from Texas.  We visited Pickering Wharf and The House of Seven Gables.  These are some of the pictures I took in the garden.

    • Hi Lance! Salem is a gorgeous town and it’s claim to fame (besides the Salem Witch Trials) is the Peabody Essex Museum which is the OLDEST maritime museum in our country.

I was lucky that I got this shot…the clouds kept coming in and out!

    • Hi Carolyn! I was surprised that the snapdragons were still in bloom this late in the season! They were just beautiful!

    • Hi Joy!

It does resemble a sea anemone! There was a bit of romance in the air…if you could call it that. My daughter was pining for her Irish lad while she entertained his parents and one of his brothers…and poor future son-in-law…he was home in Ireland all by himself…

  1. Absolutely stunning pictures! I liked the Halloween ones too (on Facebook). My dog is named Salem, It was neat seeing the pics of Salem (ha). And my mom’s favorite flowers are snap dragons. I can’t believe how big those are! She would love that. I never did well growing snap dragons.
    Thanks for sharing Peggy! Wonderful!

    • Hi Angelia!

I don’t do well growing too much besides children and dogs. My green thumb is more like a black thumb but I just love beautiful flowers!

  2. Well instead of a beautiful bride, all I can say is what a beautiful flowers and what a way to still have love in action with whomever was present.
I admire how you all deal with the enforced change of plans.

    • Thanks Wilma…my daughter had a tough day…a day that should have seen her become Mrs. Noel Wyse, instead saw her trapsing around Salem, Massachusetts with Noel’s parents and one of his brothers.
